Dear All,
Training this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. at New Anniesland.
A brief reminder that we have our Family BBQ this Sunday following training. We have arranged catering and the bar will be open from 1200hrs along with some family fun games to keep everyone busy!
The day is free and all we ask is that you make a donation when you come along towards the food cost.
KIT Proposal 2010:
We have now secured a kit sponsor for this year and so all players will receive INCLUDED in their £50 membership fee a NEW team jersey, training trousers and socks.
I am sure you will agree this is really a FANTASTIC DEAL .
This will continue to ensure the boys look the part when we play other teams in tournaments and will really be able to "Play for the jersey"!!
PLEASE make sure we get those membership forms in asap to ensure you are included as we will operate the same principle as last time,NO PAY NO KIT.
KIT SWAP/SALE:
Last year we ran a very successful kit swap exchange and in addition to saving you all money it helped boost club funds. We realise that whilst waiting for this seasons kit (which may take a few weeks )some of you will have noticed that the boys have outgrown their current kit.
We also have new members who may have no Accies kit at all.We therefore will run a kit sale of new and used kit immediately after training this week just before the BBQ gets in full swing
We have NEW jerseys @£10 (these can be used until new season kit arrives and will be useful as training tops later)
Good condition Used kit can be exchanged for a NEW jersey at £5each
We will operate a direct swap used for used kit to change sizes at no cost.
We also have very limited numbers of thermal training tops @£10 each.
In addition if you have scrum caps/body armour, rugby boots that no longer fit, good quality training shoes that are cluttering the garage/cupboards or other rugby jerseys please bring them along during training preferrably with Laces tied together and sizes marked on them.ALL these items will be on sale for between £3-5 and were extrememely popular last time.(With so much rugby to play a dry spare pair definitely comes in handy over the winter months)
Needless to say we need thing to be clean so please dont send your boys to training in their playing jerseys if you wish to swap. The success of this venture really depend on everyone digging out their kit and bringing a few pounds in change.
SEE YOU SUNDAY!!
best wishes,
john
